ePropulsion

Founded and incubated at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2012, ePropulsion moved to its Songshan Lake headquarters in the Greater Bay Area in 2015. It builds electric outboards, pod drives and the battery systems that feed them, aimed at tenders, day boats and small sailing yachts rather than at the commercial end of the market, and says it has delivered more than 50,000 motors and batteries.
