Volta Yachts ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

• Account credentials if you create an account
• Messages and inquiries you send through our contact forms
• Preferences and interests related to electric boats

We use the information we collect to:

Data retention

We keep enquiry and lead data that contains personal details for up to 24 months from submission. After that, the personal fields (name, email, phone, message) are automatically erased, while non-identifying statistics are retained. Newsletter and alert subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to erase them. We keep information longer only where a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute requires it.

4. Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Boat manufacturers and sellers when you express interest in their products
• Service providers who assist in operating our platform
• Legal authorities when required by law

Our sub-processors

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the platform. They process personal data only on our instructions, under data-processing terms:

• Cloudflare, Inc (global edge): hosting, application runtime, database (D1), and file storage (R2). The contact details you submit are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure.
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc): delivery of transactional email such as your enquiry confirmation, seller notifications, and sign-in links. Receives the name and email needed to send each message.
• Beehiiv, Inc: newsletter delivery, used only if you opt in to marketing email. Receives your email address.

Where a provider is outside the EEA, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard. Our analytics providers are listed in the Cookies and Analytics section below. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt-out of marketing communications
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
