Overview
The Helios Omega 7.2 was designed as an electric boat from the very first sketch, not adapted from a diesel hull. It's an open day cruiser built to move between two moods: relaxed family outings across calm water, and a livelier run along the coast when you want more from the ride.
A 50 kW motor and modular LFP battery draw extra range from a 1.55 kWp solar roof, while the Helios Marine Link app puts battery charge, energy use, and even anchor control in your pocket. Category C certified, the Omega is equally happy inland on a lake or out along the coast in a moderate chop.
What sets it apart
The Helios Omega 7.2 is a compact, solar enhanced electric boat offering zero emission cruising with smart connectivity, equally at home on coastal waters and inland lakes and rivers.
Two Boats in One
Its semi deep V hull is tuned for calm water stability but keeps its composure in a light chop too. The same boat that carries the family out for a relaxed afternoon can also deliver a livelier run along the coast.
Control From Your Pocket
The Helios Marine Link app connects to the batteries, motor and solar roof, giving you real time battery status, solar input and energy use from your phone. You can even lower the anchor without leaving the helm.
Rated for Real Conditions
Its category C classification means the Omega 7.2 can handle moderate conditions, including winds up to Force 6 and wave heights up to two metres, backed by a 50 kW drive and a 36 kWh battery for a usable range of around 54 nautical miles.
Personal and Low Maintenance
Customisable hull, decking, and interior colours let you make the Omega 7.2 your own, while an electric drivetrain with fewer moving parts keeps maintenance low compared with a conventional boat.
Sustainability
The Helios Omega 7.2 runs on zero direct emissions and zero noise pollution. It pairs a 50 kW electric drivetrain with a 1.55 kWp solar roof, with no diesel, no exhaust, and no fuel to spill into the water.

Yes. Hull colour, decking colour and interior/furniture colour can all be tailored to your preference.
Range depends on cruising speed and installed battery capacity. On the 36 kWh configuration at 6 knots, expect up to around 54 nautical miles (100 km), extended further with solar input.
Yes, the battery architecture is modular and can be extended after purchase.
On a sunny day, the solar roof can generate enough energy to return at low cruising speed, provided the battery isn't fully depleted. Helios recommends keeping at least 10% charge in reserve.
Around two months from purchase order to readiness for collection, excluding customisations.
Yes, available directly through Helios Marine.
An electric drivetrain removes fuel related maintenance: no oil changes, no filter swaps, no winterizing. Fewer moving parts also mean less wear over the boat's lifetime.
Eight years.
