Electric Tenders

An electric tender is a small electric boat used as an auxiliary for a larger vessel, typically 2.5 to 5 metres long, sized to carry 2 to 8 people between an anchored mothership and shore. Electric tenders solve three problems that outboard tenders introduce: they make no noise on a late-night return to the anchorage, they do not require fuel storage or jerry-cans aboard the mothership, and they charge from the mothership's house battery without a separate fuel logistics chain.
