BlueSpin Outboard 8kW Motor

The BlueSpin Outboard 8kW is BlueNav's add-on electric propulsion system, designed to integrate easily onto the transom of any boat, whether newbuild or refit. It adds a fully electric motor alongside the existing combustion engine, giving the boat true hybrid propulsion: switch between electric and combustion power depending on the moment.
The retractable, 360°-manoeuvrable unit delivers 110 kg of static thrust (equivalent to a 15 hp combustion engine) with zero emissions, no vibration and silent operation. Installation is quick, requires no structural changes, and the system needs very little maintenance once fitted.
On top of the core propulsion, BlueNav's Smart Navigation features add patented Virtual Anchor positioning (±20cm accuracy via GPS Precision+), Smart Mooring and Docking 360°, all controlled through a reactive, intuitive command panel or the BlueNav smartphone app.
