Discover the Future of Sustainable Boating at the Barcelona Electric Marine Show 2026

The Barcelona Electric Marine Show 2026
The future of sustainable boating is happening in Barcelona this April — and there's one very special reason VOLTA wants you to be there.
From April 10–12, Port Olímpic will host the 3rd edition of the Barcelona Electric Marine Show (BEMS), the unmissable event where leading companies, investors, and pioneers come together to accelerate the transition towards zero-emission nautical and land mobility.

Organised by ANBE (Asociación Nacional de Barcos Eléctricos) and Port Olímpic de Barcelona, BEMS has established itself as the key sustainable boating event in the Mediterranean. Barcelona is no coincidence: the city's America's Cup legacy continues to drive investment in green nautical technology and innovation.
This year's edition is the most ambitious yet, with a large exhibition area on the Mestral Wharf, additional exhibitors on the water, and a full programme of presentations and roundtables organised in collaboration with the International Electric Marine Association (IEMA). A standout new feature for 2026 is the inclusion of companies and professionals from the electromobility and renewable energy sectors, reinforcing the connection between land and sea in the energy transition.

Exhibitors include international names such as TEMO France, ePropulsion, Water World, Panot, and Ingeteam, covering three areas:
- Electric, hybrid, and hydrogen vessels, with stands right on the Mestral Wharf and boats on the water for a fully immersive experience
- Sustainable land mobility solutions: cars, motorbikes, bicycles, scooters, and more
- Maritime infrastructure committed to innovation: charging stations, solar panels, dock towers, and more
The previous edition drew over 2,500 on-water experiences across 14 electric boats, and 2026 looks set to surpass that. Entry is free and open to the public, from 10:00 to 19:00 each day.
"It is an honour to host the third edition of this leading event, which allows us to continue advancing in the challenge of decarbonising maritime and land mobility, hand-in-hand with the main companies in the sector."
Olga Cerezo, Director of Port Olímpic
BMS Awards Gala
On April 9, the night before the show opens, Port Olímpic will host the Sustainable Boating Awards Gala, recognising the projects, companies, and ports leading the way in nautical sustainability, from decarbonisation and electrification to energy efficiency and innovation. Together, these two events make Barcelona the place to be for anyone serious about the future of boating.

Meet the Earthling E40 Electric Catamaran
For VOLTA, this year's BEMS has one highlight above all: the Earthling E40 will be on display at the show, and this is your chance to discover it up close.
The Earthling E40 is one of the most exciting electric catamarans to arrive on the European market, a boat that proves sustainable boating doesn't mean compromising on performance, comfort, or design. If you've been following VOLTA and wondering what the next chapter of electric boating looks like, this is it.
